25th, 26th and 27th September Tommasi will enjoy Eataly in LA, Chicago and NY
September 25th, 26th and 27th Tommasi Family will enjoy Eataly for a wine tasting in the cities of Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, respectively.
The wine tasting will be possible at Eataly and will develop independently in the individual cities. In Los Angeles Tommasi will introduce you to Valpolicella region, thanks to typical wines like Amarone. September 26th and 27th Tommasi will be in Chicago and New York to propose a Paternoster wine tasting with products from Basilicata region, in South-Italy.
These classes will give you the opportunity to dive a bit deeper in your wine studies, even if you are brand new in the Italian wine world.
Something about Tommasi Family
Since 1902 Tommasi family has been linked with the cultivation and production of wine in the Valpolicella Classica region. It is a family viticultural company located in Pedemonte, a small village in the heart of Valpolicella Classica region, in the northwest part of Verona. The family owns exceptionally well-situated estates for the production of high-quality wines in the D.O.C. regions of Verona. It is principally acclaimed for Amarone Classico, becoming one of the most important quality producers in Veneto.
Tommasi Family Estates represents the family project aimed to produce excellent wines in the most vocated Italian lands. Starting in 1997 with Poggio al Tufo estate, in Tuscany, the family extended its project also in Lombardy, North-Italy, Apulia and Basilicata, both in South-Italy.
The collaboration with Paternoster Family
Since 2016 Tommasi collaborates with Paternoster family, which winery is one of the iconic wineries in Basilicata. Paternoster is located in Barile, a hidden germ in South Italy. This area is marked by unique soil and climate characteristics. The property is made up by 20 hectares dislocated in different farmhouses. Authentic cru suited for their production of Aglianico wine, like Don Anselmo, expression of the local culture. The vineyards of Paternoster estate are located on the foothills of Vulture, the extinct volcano which draws the boundaries of a generous and secret region, and preserves the vineyads with a unique character.
