Hospitality is an important part of Tommasi Family Estates project, it has always been essential to combine catering with wine, as a support for the enhancement of the territory and the product.
The Nineties of the last century are marked by a return to origins, when in the twenties and thirties, Giacomo, founder of the company, took over two taverns in Verona and Parona.
The Tommasi family return to hospitality by combining well-being with food and wine culture. They bought Villa Quaranta in Pescantina, in the Valpolicella area, today no longer just a hotel, but also a congress center and a beautiful SPA. The idea is to make the wines known, not only to Italians, but also to foreigners from all over the world, in a high-level place.
A few years later another ambitious project awaits them: reopening the ancient Caffè Dante, the living room of Verona.
In February 2008 the dream came true and the Tommasi family revived the local historian. Today Caffè Dante Bistrot offers traditional cuisine accompanied by an important Italian wine list.
Next to Caffè Dante Bistrot, the Mazzanti Hotel, a historic mansion, adjacent to Piazza delle Erbe, with elegant rooms in a structure in line with the art and culture of the historic center of Verona, a friendly staff that is attentive to your needs.
Promotion of the territory which also applies to the Tuscan Maremma, the Poggio al Tufo estate welcomes an eight-room farmhouse obtained from a historic farmhouse, renovated respecting the local architecture and materials, it welcomes guests and wine lovers in the middle of the vineyards.
