Paternoster
Vulture
Since 1925, Paternoster is a pioneer winery in the Basilicata, and a family that for over three generations, almost single-handedly catapulted Aglianico del Vulture into the limelight in Italy. One of the most difficult grapes to work with, the Paternosters proved that Aglianico cultivated on the volcanic soils of Mount Vulture could produce some of Italy's greatest red wines.
The Tommasi family now owns a majority stake, in a partnership that will strengthen the brand and international recognition. At Paternoster we produce Aglianico del Vulture and Falanghina.

Caseo
Oltrepò Pavese
The winery is situated on a historic aristocratic estate that extends over 120 hectares of rolling hills and woodlands on the northeastern quadrant of the Oltrepò Pavese, the Valle Versa. We chose the estate for the sunny southern position of the vineyards on soils rich in clay and and limestone.
This area of the Oltrepò Pavese is particularly suited to the production of extraordinarily elegant Pinot Nero based spumante wines. At Caseo we produce Pinot Nero, Pinot Nero brut, Pinot Nero brut Rosè e Moscato.

Poggio al Tufo
Maremma Toscana
Poggio al Tufo, on the volcanic tuff soils in the Tuscan Maremma, was the first estate we acquired outside the Veneto in 1997. Today, Poggio al Tufo extends over 200 hectares, encapsulating three separate vineyard areas between Scansano and Pitigliano, where we also manage a charming agroturismo surrounded by vineyards.
At Poggio al Tufo we produce a Tuscan blend (Maremma Igt) and mono-varietal wines from native and international grapes, some from organic vineyards: Rompicollo (Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon), Alicante e Vermentino.

Surani
Manduria Puglia
The wine estate at the southern tip of Italy's heel in the Manduria denomination of Salento is 80 hectares of organically managed vineyards just miles away from a stunning natural reserve and miles of white beaches. The area is steeped in culture, art and history heavily influenced by ancient Greece, so much so, that we named the wines after Greek Gods. At the heart of the property is the whitewashed Masseria Surani, a typical 19th century farmhouse.
Our project remains rooted in the territory and committed to its native grapes: Primitivo, Negroamaro e Fiano.
